Con "Flowers from Exile", la agrupación Rome; originaria de Luxemburgo supera todos los trabajos realizados hasta la fecha, que ya incluye tres discos de larga duración en sólo unos años. Con este disco Rome se ha ampliado con una orgullosa y dulce melancolía. El último álbum, "Flores del exilio" va un paso más allá. Similar a los primeros álbums del legendario compositor Leonard Cohen, historias del exilio con gestos fatalistas y un timbre oscuro, historias de la nostalgia de una patria perdida, de la soledad de un viaje eterno, como también la nostalgía de los amigos lejanos y la verdadera patria en su propio corazón. Canciones como "The Secret Sons of Europe" y "To Die Among Strangers" (que fue publicado anteriormente como un CD single) forman un ciclo de canciones llenas de metáforas de alejamiento - la poesía de la nostalgia. Se utiliza el sonido de la guitarra flamenca, así como muestras misteriosas, ritmos pulsantes y melodías tristes. En ROME las canciones viven un estoico sentido de la melodramática.
